Colourpop No-Filter Concealer - My verdict

So I had these concealers for around a a few months now and i've used it maybe 3 or 4 times. I remember getting a pop up email from Colourpop with them announcing their $6 dollar concealer and I was sold!! I bought some based on their swatches on their site and selected 3 colours: 45 Deep Beige, 55 Deep Tan, 60 Deep Golden and some other items.

As I waited on them to arrive I checked on youtube a few days after placing my order to see the reviews from some beauty guru's. Most of them were happy with it but not really in love with. Skipping forward a week  I finally got them in the post. First impression. They looked big and full and the wand is so soft.

Now trying them out on their own - the coverage is quite medium and buildable however when its on - IT IS ON! You can blend with it but you have to be fast as it dried up very quickly. I also realised that it reminded me of another brand LA Girl concealer which are actually half the price $3 available in stores and countries. So verdict - they were ok but I think ill stick with my exciting concealers       - Currently MAC Studio Fix NC45 -

  • Side note - I am a bit late but I am loving NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade AMANDE but the story on how I stumble on it is funny (well to me it is).

So on a very very hot summers day in NYC...

I was on my way to meeting here in NYC and it was extremely hot and humid and before you know it - my make up was cracking and melting off. I literally rushed to Sephora for a quick touch up. I tried Bobbie Brown, Becca, Sephora own brand anything that I was familiar with and didn't have to spend hours colour matching. I wanted something light and easy!  So I gave up and focused on concealers. I looked behind me and saw NARS. I haven't tried them before so I thought ill try it now.  After experimenting with some shades I found one that did the trick.

*Bare face with nothing but NARS concealer. No brows and no lashes*

It works great as a concealer but also great as a over all quick foundation. It has great light to medium coverage which it also buildable. I like the dewy finish but I wouldn't recommend it for those who are looking for a full coverage for spots or marks

Until Next Time
